How many people suffer from voice to skull and harassment in South Africa

Just how many people in South Africa are under the daily abuse of electronic harrasement such as hearing electronically induced voices in their heads and other relatively unsual events?

There are no official figure as this is a silent killer, not even in first world countries are the number accurate. Because of the nature of the challenge, most notable that many are unware they are targeted and go for years of consulting conventional medical avenues.

My best attempt to come up with estimates in South African cities such as Cape Town, Pretoria, Durban, Joburg has a range of between 2 000 and 5 000 victims. These estimates have made a number of assumation but the main one bein a target would have to be living a big city.

Assumptions

1. Target or victim lives in a city and leads a confortable life.

2. The motive for targeting is non political but mostly for profit.

3. Only 0.1 % of the top earning work force are candidate pool for targeting


Work Force = 9,000,000 people
Candidate Pool = 25% of the top earnes of work force = 2,250,000
Targets 0.1% = 0.1% of 2,250,000 = 2250
So there are rougly 2300 victims

Assumptions

1. Base most of the calculations on a fraction of the unofficial Unites States estimate

2. Its 10 times less likely to be a victim in South Africa than it is in the Unites States
3. South Africa being a second world country
Rough estimates for states victims are maximun 350,000
This is roughly 0.1% of the population (2009 data)


SA 10 times less likely to be a target = 0.01% of population

No Of Targets = 0,01% of 50 000,000 (total population) = 5000
